Return to Inis Mor

In this dramatic Sequel to – Passage to Inis Mór – Conor O’Rourke returns to Ireland, hoping that he will soon be reunited with his wife. But the promises he made to her, though well-intentioned, will be harder to fulfill than he realized as he struggles to survive on the remote and mysterious island of Inis Mór. He is offered work, rebuilding a forty-foot sailing boat that had been wrecked on the island years before.
But the boat is in ruins and he doubts he has the ability to save her. Then he meets a master boatbuilder and his wife who are willing to help. But Conor is confused, for the man is a short-tempered, grossly deformed hunchback, while his wife is a strikingly beautiful young woman, high-spirited and gifted in the arts, whom people suspect of being a Selkie, (a seal person.)
